Ricardo Rivera

  • He is currently a partner at RC Group. He worked for 15 years at the law firm Morgan & Morgan as a senior associate, advising national and international companies on complex transactions.
  • He practices law in the areas of corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, real estate, capital markets, and banking transactions. He is known for his ongoing advice to international clients on general corporate matters.
  • He holds a Bachelor's degree in Law and Political Science from Universidad Santa María La Antigua, a Master's degree in Banking Law from Universidad Santa María La Antigua in conjunction with the International Banking Institute, a Master's degree in Commercial Law from Universidad Santa María La Antigua, and a Master's degree in Law (LL.M.) with an emphasis on securities and corporate law from Vanderbilt University (USA, Nashville, Tennessee).
  • He is also a member of the National Bar Association of Panama and of the Instituto Panameño de Derechos y Nuevas Tecnologías (IPANDETEC, Panamanian Institute of Law and New Technologies). He is a frequent contributor of articles related to the securities market, compliance, and technology law.
