R&C Lawyers

Lawyer and currently a partner/administrative and legal director of the firm. He was an associate of the accounting firm Mendoza & Asociados, as well as a tax supervisor for the international firm Moore Stephens.
He is a graduate of the Universidad Latina de Panamá, has a postgraduate degree in taxation from the Universidad de Las Américas and a master's degree in taxation from the Universidad Especializada del Contador Público Autorizado.

Lawyer and currently working as a partner/tax director within the firm. He was a Senior Associate at the law firm Morgan & Morgan and an associate lawyer at the law firm Sucre, Arias & Reyes, as well as a tax supervisor at the international law firm Moore Stephens.
He is a university professor of Tax Law at the master's level at several local universities.
He is a graduate of the University of Panama, has a Postgraduate Degree in Tax Law and a Diploma of Advanced Studies within the Doctorate Program in European Tax Law from the University of Castilla - La Mancha in Spain. He also has a postgraduate degree in taxation from the University of the Americas, a master's degree in taxation from the University of Specialized Studies for Certified Public Accountants (UNESCPA) and a diploma in higher education from the Latin University of Panama.
He is a member of the National Bar Association of Panama, where he has served as president of the Tax Law and Public Finance Commission. He is a weekly columnist for the newspaper La Prensa in the economy section of the specialized opinion column called “Ventana Fiscal”.

Mr. Epifanio is currently a Partner at RC Group. He worked for 15 years at the law firm Morgan & Morgan as a Senior Associate, advising national and international companies on complex transactions.
Mr. Epifanio's legal practice focuses on corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, real estate, capital markets and banking transactions. He is well known for his ongoing advice to international clients on general corporate matters.
Mr. Epifanio has a degree in Law and Political Science from the Santa María La Antigua University, a Master's degree in Banking Law from the Santa María La Antigua University in conjunction with the Instituto Bancario Internacional, a Master's degree in Commercial Law from the Santa María La Antigua University and a Master's degree in Law (LL.M.) with an emphasis on stock market and corporate law from Vanderbilt University (USA, Nashville, Tennessee).
He is also a member of the National Bar Association and the Panamanian institute of rights and new technologies (IPANDETEC). He is a frequent contributor to publications on the stock market, compliance and technology law.
Member of the World Compliance Association.

She obtained a joint Master's Degree in Criminal Sciences, University of Barcelona-Pompeu Fabra University.
Diploma in Project Management- Florida State University.
Certification from the International Federation of Consulting Engineers- Modules I and II of FIDIC Contracts.
Member of the National Bar Association.
Assistant Manager of the Panama Sanitation Program- 2018-2019.
She currently works as an associate lawyer at RC Group, in the areas of Property Law, Administrative Law, Migration and Commercial Law.

Lawyer, graduated with a degree in Law and Political Science from the Universidad Católica Santa María la Antigua (USMA).
He has a Master's degree in Law (LL.M.) and obtained a Certificate in Corporate Law from Duke University School of Law (North Carolina, USA).
Before joining RC Group, Juan David Sosa worked at a renowned law firm in Panama, as an associate in the Corporate Law department.
Mr. Sosa is currently an Associate in the Corporate Law team at RC Group and advises national and international clients on complex transactions, specializing in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, capital markets, banking law, real estate and commercial law.
He is also a member of the Latin American Law Students Association at Duke University.

Lawyer, graduated from the Santa María La Antigua University.
She has a master's degree in Tax Law and obtained a certificate in international tax consultancy from the Instituto Superior de Derecho y Economía (Barcelona, Spain).
Ms. Barreiro currently works as an associate lawyer in the administrative, corporate and tax law practices of RC Group.

Graduate in International Trade and Customs Administration from the Latin American University of Foreign Trade (ULACEX) and a student of Law and Political Science. She currently works as a legal assistant in the administrative and commercial law practice of RC Group.
